Another Hexagon

I finished another hexagon this evening and have decided on the connecting fabric I will probably use, it will also be the centers of each of the hexes. They are going alot faster now that I have done a couple, and my fingers are also getting hardened where I keep pricking them.

While I was playing around with the 2 blocks, I decided that the quilt will need a border of some kind and this is the fabric I will be using. It is the same fabric that I am using in a Web Sampler quilt that I hope to finish before spring arrives. I am one of those people that if I really like a fabric I will use it in more than one quilt, and keep using pieces of it in many others until it is all gone.
The hexes are really fun to do and I can carry them with me to work or in the car when we go somewhere. This quilt is progressing alot faster than I expected, and that is a good thing!

This is so awesome...I think you will have a quilt in no time. I like this shape also, as well as the striped border. Border fabrics are so much fun to use.
