What I've Been Working On

It seems like forever since I have posted. Having alot of problems with my pictures and hope to get that fixed the next time my daughter comes to Indiana. We were in Ohio this last week for her surgery, she came out of it great! Now for the recovery.

I have had this quilt done for a while and so I thought I could get it quilted quickly but that hasn't happened. Hopefully I will get it done tomorrow but am not holding my breath. For
not working outside the house I don't get nearly as much done as I did when I was working
full time, and I still get up around 5:30 every morning! Too many interruptions I guess. LOL

Quilt for Cousin's New Grandbaby!

One thing about quilting, when relatives have babies come into the family they want a quilt. I am always honored when they come to me and ask me to make them one. This cute little quilt will be for my husband's cousin who will be having a little boy grandbaby. This is a Scnibble's pattern called "Roundabout" and I think it will be perfect!

Basket Of Logs

The quilt that I will be making with the fabric from a prior post is "Basket Of Logs" in the book Log Cabin Fever. No one guessed the actual quilt but "Linda" and "Swopester" did get the right book so if you would both email me your name and addresses to ccquilting@yahoo.com I will get a gift out to each of you. I have started on the quilt, sewed a couple of pieces together, LOL , but will try and get it all done after I get the baby quilts done. I am a bit intimidated by this pattern, it will be interesting! Happy quilting everyone!

Finishes and Starts

I have had computer problems and I now can finally get back on my blog, YIPPEE! I hate not being able to post and show you what I have been up to. My first finish is for a baby from church and I will give it to the mommy this Sunday. I love the Bliss fabric, it just makes me happy and I know the little one will love it too! The next pix is for the little one's brother who didn't get a quilt when he was born. I think he will like the funny wierd looking Octopus's in the border, they are a real hoot!! And this last pix will be a quilt for my cousin's new grandbaby that will be born in about 6 months. It is a Schnibbles pattern "Roundabout" but I will make it bigger. I just love this pattern and if all goes well I will make a lap quilt for myself. Now, I will figure out if anyone in my little contest from a previous post has the correct pattern that I will be doing after I finish the baby quilt. Stay tuned!
