Thanks to everyone who responded to my give-away! All the projects are taken and I couldn't be happier. Now I have an empty basket that I can fill up with new quilts and projects. I still have a quilt chest full of quilts and things I want to sort through and I just might have to have another give-away in the future so be sure to check back periodically. :D
It is snowing heavily here in NW Indiana this morning and later today the temps will drop further and the wind will start blowing, temps in the minus numbers they say. Right now it is so beautiful out, snow falling, it looks like fairy dust one of my friends said. She was right, is does look like fairy dust! What a great attitude! I'm sitting at work looking out the windows and grumbling about all the snow I'm going to have to clean off of my car, and how much it's supposed to snow later tonight. Sometimes I think I'd be much happier if I had a cubicle upstairs where I couldn't see outside all the time! That's probably not true because it IS pretty. This is just the time of year that I remind myself how nice it is living so close to the lake during the summers. :) Hope you're staying warm!
I'm sure it must be very beautiful - I would love to experience it, even if it is just to know I have and can comprehend - living in Australia, I just have no idea!
