Well, not really, lol! I have a quilty friend who is making this quilt in some of the most beautiful pastel fabrics that I had commented on and she liked my fabrics so we agreed to make each other the small version in our fabrics. I have been working on these stars this afternoon and am to the point of actually putting the little stars together. I must say they were actually pretty easy. Hope you all are having a great day, I love days like this!

It has been a busy summer this year, family get togethers, weddings, hooking up with old friends, etc. It has also been fun hooking up with quilts that I haven't finished, but started many years ago. The one below is one of them. I started this quilt while in Paducah with friends. One of the girls had taken a class with the designer, Edyta Star, and taught a group of us how to make the blocks. It was fun but I had put it away and not finished it until yesterday.
I will always treasure this quilt. It is filled with fun, laughter, and memories of a wonderful trip to a quilt show in Paducah!
What a great day! Since it is so hot here in NW Indiana today I have spent the time quilting a quilt that I had made many years ago and decided it needed to be finished too. The older fabrics have brought back alot of memories. I love days like this! :D
