Displaying Quilts

I love displaying my quilts, don't you? What's the point of making quilts if you can't display them so you can enjoy them when you are in your home? I would love to see how you quiltersdisplay your quilts. I am always looking for new ways to display mine so I will show you my ways if you show me yours!

Carol, you are so original in displaying your quilts. I keep looking for somewhere to do that, but haven't come up with a way or place yet. I have seen some people take a step ladder to display their quilts. I like that idea. Someday maybe

I really love the way you display your quilts - it makes your home look so homely. Thanks for the ideas!

I LOVE the quilts in the crocks! I have to do that! I love displaying too, but my husband hates them! So I don't have as many out as I wish I did!

Love how you display your quilts! And they are beautiful quilts. I don't do anything nearly so clever. I hang miniatures on the walls - don't have wall space for anything bigger. I have two standing quilt racks - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I have a hanging quilt rack in my entry above a small church pew - I drape one seasonal quilt over the back of the pew and hang another from the rack. I have a smaller hanging rack in the dining room that also has seasonal quilts. I put one on my dining table, another across the back of the couch, and smaller ones draped over the back of chairs. In the family room I have one on the small eating table and another across the back of the couch. And of course on our bed - the only bed in the house since quilting fills most of the other rooms LOL!
