It may be Friday but work never ends this time of year. I wanted to post a finished picture of my little quilt that I started this last summer. I am very happy with it. I finished sewing the binding down yesterday morning before work. Great way to start the day! Making all the little flying geese looked intimidating when I started but it was easy and it was a great way to use up scraps that I just couldn't bear to part with.
This last quilt I finished piecing last night when I got home from work. Now I just have to get the border fabric ordered and attached and then I am ready to get the quilting done. I should make it by Christmas! :D This was the first time I used Jelly Rolls and I enjoyed it. Saved a cutting step so this quilt went quick.
That's it for now. No help for me today at the elevator so the day ought to go quick. One thing about my customers, they are patient. So far the yields haven't been too bad. One farmer had a bean field that produced 85 bu to the acre which was a record for him. Haven't heard about corn yet, the guys are really just getting started.
Have a great weekend and I will think quilty thoughts to get me through the day! :D

That flying geese looks like mine except your quilting is so much nicer!!!
I keep thinking about using a jelly roll just haven't done it yet.
I'm really impressed you find time to quilt during harvest! I think I'm attention deficit because I can't juggle too many things at once.
Love the quilts. Don't know how you have found the time. I've been on a no sewing week. Beginning to have withdrawal. Hopefully will be back on tract next week.
Great quilts, I love the flying geese. I also love your header with the Orange Crush. Wonderful colors and fabrics.
You are amazing...just love everything you make. And you get so much done. Hugs Khris in Oz
p.s. I finally got a photo of my mini quilt prize and put it on my blog.
The quilting is beautiful on this one!
