Above is where I weigh and record the trucks and print out their tickets. It is hard to see because it is so bright outside. To the far right is the DTN where I get the grain prices from the Chicago Board of Trade. I also get all my weather maps and the radar and the forecast of the weather. That is so important. :D
These last 2 pix are what I am working on, 2 seperate projects in the works. The one on the right I am sewing on before I come to work and the one on the left is for TV watching with hubby after supper. More on them in the future. That is all for now. Got to get to work, it looks like it will be a glorious day!

Home Away From Home
Good Morning! I thought I would show you where I will spending 85% of my time over the next 2 1/2 months. The fun stuff first! :D Here is our handy dandy popcorn maker and the baskets are filled with caramels, tootsie rolls, and peanuts. We have pop in the fridge and ice cream

Hey, that's pretty neat. I was curious about your job. So do you pay exactly what the Chicago Board of Trade says or what?
Thanks for the interstong post about where you'll be..Looks like a nice job to have.
happy stitching when you have time.
Hugs
Oh my goodness! Those office shots looks too dang NEATLY to be real!!! :0)
Thanks for sharing! Keep us posted as often as you can :0)
That is entirely too neat for a hard working girl. My desk use to have at least 4 stacks of papers that needed processing. Of course they were hid at night and I looked like I had accomplished everything. Happy weighing.
Looks like our grain elevator's office. Lucky you getting to post on your blog while at work. You must have a great boss!
Do the farmers in your area like to complain all the time? About the prices, the weather, the cost...boo hoo! I think its a universal problem...whinning farmers that is. LOL
I do know you are working really hard right now, take care of yourself and try not to overdo.
Hugs!
Can't wait to see what your doing with the orange and blue-ish fabrics! I stopped in at the store in Crown Point last weekend and made a good dent in my wallet! I said you sent me!
Ummm, what's a grain separator?
I can't wait to see what you're making with the strips.
I bet the popcorn is a real hit. My kids would be asking to go along to the grain elevator.
A lovely look at YOUR world, thanks! Don't work too hard!
Hugs - Lurline.
I love that you have popcorn in there and that you bring stitching to work on. That's exactly what I would do! blessings, marlene
