New Project

I was surprised yesterday when my hubby came home from spending time with my mother and brought me a new camera! As you can see I immediately got busy learning how to use it.
Below is a pix of Sherri who helps me in the fall and works at the fertilizer plant down the street when she isn't helping me. To the right is an unsuspecting farmer Mark. He looks thrilled doesn't he??
When I got home last night I started making this quilt for my DIL for Christmas. It is going to be so cute and really goes fast! That's all for now, gotta get to work but just had to post something! I miss all of you out there and try to check out some blogs when I have a minute. What did we do before blogs came along???

Congratulations on your new camera. Your flying geese quilt fooled me again. I look and think it's the Old Tobacco Road from Bonnie, and then I have to take a second look.
Your DIL's quilt is going to be adorable.

I'm working with charm packs of those fabrics. But sadly I haven't found the fabric line of them, except the red candy cane looking one, so lucky you! Doing the disappearing 9-Patches... Just have to get the boarders on and the top is done...
I see you have done some of Bonnie Hunters mysteries. Good for you! they look great! 8-)
Happy stitchings...when you find the time! 8-)
