A Thimbleberries Finish

I used to belong to a Thimbleberries Club at "Bits N Pieces" in Crown Point many years ago. We had so much fun and I loved the fabrics. Below is a quilt that I have had forever but until recently did it get pieced. My friend Angela pieced it for me and she did a wonderful job! I finished quilting it yesterday and so this morning I got some pix. I love the way the quilts look in the early morning light.

Below is a close up of the blocks. Aren't the colors yummy?

I have quite a few other Thimbleberrie quilts that are done but need quilted so will be working on them soon, first I have Angela's "Quilt -A-Long" quilt to get quilted. Another quilty day at my house, life is good!

The quilting looks beautiful, Carol! I'm so glad we have this deal for trading quilting for piecing! :o)

This is just beautiful. You did a great job on the quilting. What a great trade and you both get things done...it's so hard to do it all and get it done in a timely manner.

I love this pattern. My quilt is on the bed now and is a different colorway as I used some different fabrics mostly Thimbleberries with green, gold, mauve, beige, tan print.
