Thimbleberries Delight

I have always loved Thimbleberries fabrics, I even used to belong to a Thimbleberries Club and have made quite a few projects over the years. In my older years :D I have picked out the Moda fabrics as my favorites and have never looked back. Well, I have quite a few kits of Thimbleberries and have decided to get these done and have fallen in love with the prints again. Below I have just finished up piecing a Log Cabin quilt that I will cherish. Each fabric brings back a special memory of the quilters and teachers that I will never forget.

I took this pix so I could define the different fabrics at a glance.
I even kept the little threads attached until I get ready to quilt it. LOL

My husband always teases me and says "How come you can't remember what we talked about yesterday, but can remeber everything about a quilt you made 2 years ago!" Is there anybody out there like me????

I recognize most of those fabrics! I am a Thimbleberries and Moda gal myself. I especially love the Vintage Stitches line from Thimbleberries. Log cabin also just happens to be one of my very favorite quilt blocks of all time, and your quilt is beautiful.

I've seldom met a TB fabric that I didn't like, and some of them are ones that I absolutely refuse to cut into, because I love them so much. They were the first quality fabrics I became familiar with after I started quilting. I moved from the cheap, stiff, "I didn't know any better" fabrics from my JoAnn F's and Walmart days to the softness and superior quality of TB fabrics. I loved them from the start and had great fun in our local TB Club.
Quilts made from TB fabrics have a warmth and a traditional look that just give me a warm, fuzzy feeling.
Enjoy your time working on those kits.

Love your quilt! I have never met a log cabin that I didn't like - especially in the barn-raising layout. Tell hubby you only remember the important stuff...quilting!

DH and his father are that way about golf holes. They may not notice a thing in the house, but they can remember a golf hole from 15 years ago.
I also love thimbleberries and your quilt is gorgeous.

I too am a TB gal. I even painted and decorated my newly remodeled home to always work with Thimbleberries! "Straw Hat" was/is the paint color. After six years I still love the color . I have a tub full of TB kits; time to get them out.
