Quilting Fun!

What a fun holiday weekend it has been! I have
spent most of my time cleaning and quilting. I know the cleaning part doesn't sound like fun but when the dog is at the kennel I clean like crazy.
Hubby and I took a ride one afternoon and drove through the country looking at all the wonderful corn and bean fields and ended up with a Dairy Queen blizzard on our ride home. Our grandson stopped by and we had a wonderful visit with him. I will miss him when he goes to college this fall, but will love to visit him in Indy and all the quilt shops too!

The pix are of a quilt I pieced years ago and have never finished. It is full of memories and now

I will be able to get it finished. I don't know what I am going to do with all the quilts I have but it is just so satisfying to finally be finishing them all! Hope everyone had a fun and somewhat quilty holiday! Back to work tomorrow.

It feels really good to get the house all clean. Not that I would remember, it's been so long! It's also been a long time since I went to a Dairy Queen. There isn't one close to me (probably a good thing, though).

I love the quilting design. Very pretty!

I found myself cleaning like crazy while our dog was at the kennel as well. She's back now and it looks just like it did before :) The quilting looks great, it is a great feeling to finish off projects.

I love the quilting! Always amazed to see what good, "experienced" quilting can look like!
