I love Fridays! The anticipation of having 2 days off from work, Saturday and Sunday, is exciting to me. I always look forward to it. Another thing I am looking forward to is what kind of give-a-way should I have with my upcoming 300 posts. I can't believe I have that many so I suppose I should come up with something pretty special.
For now I am working on getting some of my very old quilts quilted and the quilt I am doing now is one of my oldest. I pieced this back in the 90's and the background I used for this is one of my all time favorites.
It has very simple blocks and I think maybe that is why I like it so much.
Hope everyone has a very quilty weekend!

That quilt top is really pretty, I can see why that is one of your favorite background fabrics!
So I shouldn't feel bad that I have some quilt tops waiting to be hand-quilted, from 2009, huh? :o)
Upcoming 300 posts?! Wow!
Have a great weekend!
You said it Carol! TGIF!
I always love seeing how you quilt your tops to a finish, so I'll be anticipating some pics of the quilting :0)
Happy Almost-Saturday-and-Sunday-quilting-time
It`s just wonderful.
Happy and amazing Friday-Saturday and Sunday quilting time.
That is a lovely quilt. Winona
I am retired now but definitely remember the joy of getting to Friday in the work week and knowing that two days of sewing was coming up.
A 20 year old quilt top, that is amazing. The fun thing about a quilt is that it doesn't age like so many other things. It is just as pretty now as it was the day it was sewn together. Happy weekend.
What a lovely sampler quilt!!

Ihope you have a wonderful weekend!
time to sew and time to relax!

Oh now that is one gorgeous quilt.
I love this quilt! Something about the colors and applique border. I've never seen that block with the 3 hearts before. I really like it.
