Monday-Monday!

It is Monday morning and it seems like summer has arrived here in Indiana! Easter Sunday was wonderful and after lunch finished up quilting a customer quilt. I have one more quilt to do for this customer and then I am officially done quilting for customers! I have been doing this now for 10 years, besides working full time, and I think it is time to get all my unfinished quilts quilted. I will still quilt for a few friends, have been trading piecing for quilting and it is working out great, so tht won't change. I am so looking forward to "no deadlines" and things of that nature! I can't believe it has been 10 years, where did it go? I am also finding that the older one gets the faster the time goes. Now I am really feeling old but it is true!
Hope everyone has a great week ahead, the weather sounds like it is going to be great!

Hello
I am a machine quilter to, I work at a local patchwork shop and we offer a quilting service. I have only been quilting for a year now and its so lovely when I hear good feedback about my work on customers quilts. Enjoy some quilting time for your own projects.

In the distant past I did sewing for others, and I dreaded those deadlines. They wore me out. I was always short on time sewing for my family, and that made me ++ grumpy. Best thing I ever did for my family and myself was ending that job.

Enjoy your "YOU" time!
