Quilty Weekend

It has been a real quilty weekend here. I spent all day Saturday quilting a customer quilt and this afternoon I put in the next one. After talking to my children on the phone I decided it was time to do a few more baskets. These little gems are going pretty fast and these 4 didn't take long at all. I have quite a few more basted on their sqares, ready to be worked on whenever I have a few minutes. I like the dark backgrounds and light baskets so I can mix them up with the 4 patches and create a little more interest.

These are really addictive, which is a good thing. I will have this quilt put together before Christmas if I continue as I have been, at least that is my goal.

Everybody who is making these little baskets mentions how quickly they can be made, and they just ooze cuteness. I definitely have to join in the fun some day.
You're using such unique colors. They look like one line of Sandy Gervais's Christmas fabrics. I'm enjoying watching your progress with these little beauties.

I got my book from Amazon and I'm ready to start on my quilt. Thanks so much for the info. Love the basket blocks you have completed thus far.
