Mystery Quilt Finally Quilted

I finally finished the Ministry baby quilt and am really happy with how it turned out. I have started sewing down the binding and hopefully will finish it one evening this week. Some little one will have a wonderful quilt to cuddle with soon.

Here is my Tobacco Road quilt finally quilted! I have the binding cut and will attach it tonight. Have I ever mentioned that sewing down the binding of a quilt is my favorite part of the process? So relaxing and knowing the quilt is almost complete gives me such peace and a real sense of accomplishment.

I just love the bright colors of the flying geese!
I have put another old quilt of mine in the machine to quilt and should have it done by the weekend, I think this one has been packed away since 2003. :D Anyone else have some really old quilts to finish up like me?

Now that was a silly question. :-) Your quilts are fantastic and I love the colors of tobacco road...did you send a picture to Bonnie.

Ummm, yes. I have a grandmother's flower garden that I began hand quilting about ten years ago. As for the binding I love it when I put in the last stitch and I can lay out the quilt in its loveliness. Somehow having the binding completed just seems to make a quilt a QUILT! Yours are both lovely! And I hope the baby Q will be a true blessing for its recipient.

I love that baby quilt with the embroidered center blocks! Great job on it! The Tobacco Road quilt took some time and I really appreciate it! Thanks for sharing.

I have a few quilt tops from some classes that I took TWENTY years ago. Fortunately, I've whittled it down to just a few. Also have one half-quilted that I started 24 years ago. I'm only counting those tops that I actually assembled! Love your OTR!

Sweet baby quilt and your OTR is wonderful. I just love that pattern. Yes, on your question, but you are helping me get some of those out of my sewing room. Hand quilting one right now and the bluework you are doing will be the last of my completed tops. Oh happy days!

Your Tobacco Road quilt is beautiful! I enjoy sitting down and binding a quilt also. It is peaceful knowing that your labor of love is complete :o)

Lovely quilts. I'm always happy to reach the step of sewing down the binding, but equally satisfying to me is sewing on the label.
I've whittled down my tops that need quilting pretty well in the past few months. Time to make a few more and start a new stack.

Very pretty quilts...the binding is my least favorite part...even though I am happy it is finished!

I am ashamed of how many old tops I need to quilt. Let's just say a few.

I love your Old Tabacco Road and wished I had made it too, I made all the others with Bonnie but wasn't in the right frame of mind when this one was on offer.Great to hear you are getting tops quilted, it is a good feeling when they are finished.
