Decided I would start another quilt to piece along with my Blue Ridge Beauty quilt. This pattern I found in a Kim Brackett book called "Scrap-Basket Surprises". I am using my Bliss FQ Bundle for this quilt so I am calling it "Pure Bliss". The piecing of this block is different but I have the hang of it now.
I am loving this quilt already!!

Just Had To Do It!
Yes, I just have to do it! I keep looking at Bonnie Hunter's "Blue Ridge Beauty" and I just have to get started on it. I have alot of blue scraps sitting around, I really need to get some of my fabric sorted by color, and so I thought now is the time to start using some of these up. So I started cutting this afternoon. I also put a friends quilt in my Gammill and so when I get tired of quilting I can sit down and sew little pieces together.
I am not going to get in a hurry on this one. Just going to take my time and do some sorting of scraps along the way. Who know what treasures I might find that I have forgotten about. :D

A Very Old Quilt Finsih
I feel so good! This little quilt has been making me feel so guilty for so long I finally dug it out and finished it!! It is happy and so am I. LOL I must confess I quilted it by stitching it with my sewing machine, how bad am I? Oh well, if I didn't do it quick it would still be in the corner, just had to do it! Doesn't it feel good to call a quilt done, no matter what the size??? ABSOLUTELY!

Another Finish!
Another wonderful quilt is done! My friend Angela pieced this quilt for me as a trade for me quilting one of her quilts, I really think I get the better end of this exchange. She did a wonderful job of piecing and I love how it turned out. The colors make me feel warmer than the temps outside right now.
I have to pick out another kit for Angela to do since she has a couple of quilts coming my way to quilt. Gotta love a trade like this, I am very blessed!

Baby's New Quilt
Finally finished this adorable baby quilt for a sweet little girl that will be arriving soon. I made this quilt in a class taught by Carrie Nelson a few years ago. She is such a hoot and if you ever have the chance to take a class of hers do!! I love her sense of humor and she is so helpful and down to earth. I just can't say enough good things about her.
I know the little one that will receive this quilt will love it for years to come!

FINALLY DONE!
I am SO happy this quilt is finally done! It seemed as if this quilt multiplied pieces every night and that I would never finish it. I absolutely love it and this will be a keeper for me, no giving it away. :D Thanks so much to Bonnie and I am looking forward to the next mystery she will come up with!!

Gotta Love Jo Morton
Well, I finally cashed in my Christmas Gift Certificates and this is what I got, Jo Morton FQ bundle and some pinks I was needing! I love the green and pink together! I have no idea what these fabrics will become so in the meantime I will be looking at them and just enjoying the view!
My family knows what I love and they are the best at providing the gift certificates!!
I would like to thank all you wonderful women that have commented on my blog. I am so bad at writing back and thanking everyone for commenting! I get sidetracked when I get on the computer and never finish what I originally got on the computer to do. :=( Know that I really do appreciate it and hopefully will get better at this in this brand new year!! :-)

Progress & Surprise
I am finally on the downhill slide with Bonnie's Mystery. It has been a challenge for me, alot of different fabrics and turning all the pieces the right way. Well, I didn't do a good job of that as you can see in the pix below. This is what happens when I get interupted! LOL I am not going to change it, just hope that they will be equal in quantity and continue on. It should give the quilt more texture, sounds good huh?? I also found out this morning I won in a give-a-way and am so excited, I never win anything!! Quilters are the best!

Roll Roll Cotton Boll
I got a late start on Bonnie's new mystery but am moving right along with it. I must say it has been a challenge for me, especially all those 1/2 sq. triangles. I really hate making them but love how they turn out in the grand scheme of things. Hopefully I will have all the pieces and parts done this week.
Am looking forward to see how others in blogland are turning out! Happy New Year one and all!
