Betsy's Baskets

Oh how I love this quilt! My friend Carol pieced this one for me while I quilted a quilt of hers. She does such wonderful work so quilting this was such a dream.
It is pretty chilly out right now and is getting dark so early now that I couldn't get a pix of it hung on the fence so you can see the borders.
Anyway, Sunday, while my grandaughter was working on piecing her quilt I was able to get this beauty all quilted. Below is a close up of one of the blocks.

I will cherish this quilt for many years to come!

Love this quilt! In addition, I'm intrigued by the sashing idea. It ads so much interest to the quilt!

Lovely quilt. I'm doing what you're doing. I'm sewing quilt kits for a friend and she's doing some quilting for me. It's working out great for both of us...She doesn't like to piece and I don't have time to quilt. I love the colors on your little quilt, I'd love to see the borders.

How pretty! And what a wonderful trade you have worked out with your friend. Someone commented that the colors make it look like an antique ... I think she is right. Gorgeous !!
