Fabulous Fall Finish

It has been a beautiful fall here so far, the leaves are gorgeous now in all their glorious colors and the temperature is getting cool in the mornings, my favorite time of the year!
Harvest is over, very early this year, and so I have been working on finishing up old projects in the evening again. Below is one of those projects.

Used up quite a few scraps from the previous quilt with this one, loving not having to use my new stuff yet.
My daughter is doing ok right now, she has had some acupuncture (sp) done and it has relieved some of her pain for short periods of time. Not being able to "make it all better" for your child is awful! Prayers are all I can do for her now.
Hope your fall is as colorful and awesome as mine has been! Hugs!!

I love your new quilt!
Fall seems to be suddenly over here, all the leaves are gone, and it's been much colder!
Continued prayers for your daughter! It is not right that ins companies can decide what is right or wrong for us.

Your quilt is wonderful! I continue to send lots of good thoughts your way for your daughter and for you. It's so hard to not be able to make everything OK for our kids. Take care.

You're right. Our hearts always hurt when our children hurt. I hope you she is able to convince the ins co to change their mind.

Love the quilt and took a closer look. The curvey quilting is perfect for all those straight seams.

Your scrappy quilt is beautiful! I hope you have time to keep on quilting. It is the best therapy! Also, prayers for your daughter. It is so very hard to see our babies hurt or sick, and they are always our babies, regardless of their age. Blessings!

What a great quilt. Using up the scraps from other projects is such a fun way to make a quilt. I'm so sorry that your daughter is still in pain. It makes no sense that the insurance company can deny her treatment.

So sorry to read about your daughter. Back pain is the absolute worst, and the medical community seems not to take it very seriously. I bet they would if their back was killing them! Will keep you all in my prayers. Your quilt is gorgeous!!

What a lovely quilt you have made. Fall is over here and we have a litle bit snow and ice outside. I hope your daughter will get the help she needs soon.

Ever since I read that your dgtr's surgery had been cancelled I have been praying for both of you. I did not know what to say at first bec there just are no words to truly ease what you are going thru. I am a RNso I know how the insurance companies work. You just gotta keep pounding on the door and jumping thru their hoops til you get what you know is needed. Your quilt is lovely ... quilting is so comforting at difficult times. Will continue to pray for both of you.

Your quilt is beautiful. I really like the curvy quilting on this one and I love the colors.

I'm glad your daughter has been able to get some relief. I'm keeping her in my prayers.

It's just beginning to be fall here. I've worn a sweater for a few days now...tonight is supposed to get down in the 30's. I love Fall but do not like the Winter. Here in Texas, we don't have a long Fall or Spring. It's either hot or cold.
