What a great Friday and Saturday trip my husband and I took! It is a short vacation for hubby and I before harvest starts. We had a great time, seeing gorgeous country, having beautiful weather and many different towns. We started out in NW Indiana, went to Madison, IN, a great little town with great quilt shops, Margie's Country Store being my favorite! Below is some of the the great fabrics I walked out with. :D
Went on down toward our daughter's in Cincy, by way of a great Casino which spit out some nice cash to me from the slots before we left. Spent the night with family and then went south to the Quilt Box in Dry Ridge,KY. We have been there several times and always come out with a few civil war fabrics. The 6 folded FQ are what I got from there.
After having a great lunch we continued on back to Indiana stopping at a couple more shops and arrived home last night. We love going places but it sure is nice to sleep in your own bed again!

Sounds like a lovely trip, and your fabrics are some of my favorites. Happy projects ahead, I'm sure.
Sounds like a great trip. It is nice to get away if only because it helps us appreciate being home again.
Sounds like a great trip, and you sure picked some beautiful fabrics, cant wait to see what you will do with them.
Can you tell me the name of the pattern for the quilt in your header?
Sounds like a great get away before harvest begins for both of you! The fabrics are great!
Sounds like a lovely time away! I really love that gold fabric at the top, very interesting print!
How nice to get away for a short trip.
LOVE your purchases! Terrific fabric!
Pretty new fabrics!! makes me chuckle when you buy more...after all the times you say you don't need anymore LOL That's my Momma!!! (I noticed your blurb about yourself says quilter for 32 years...I'm 33 now, so you need to change that to 33) :) Love you!
It's obvious you had a good time. Your fabrics look great. Nothing like fabric, family and cash to boot! I hope you don't work too hard on the harvest that you can't play with your fabric.
Do you have to drive a long way to get fabrics? I guess I'm spoiled here in the Dallas area. We have alot of shops around town and don't have to drive too far for a fabric fix.
