I just love this quilt, Bread & Butter! This is another one that my friend Angela made for me and I quilted a quilt for her in return. The colors on this quilt are really different and I think that is why I picked this kit. Thanks to Angela for her beautiful piecing skills, you are the best!!
It has been quite a while between posts for me, but it has been a little busy around here and I really didn't have much to post about. Hubby and I went on a short vacation while attending a wedding in Canada, and then doing some wandering around Michigan looking at light houses. They are so cool! Below is one of my favorites!
We had a wonderful time just wandering around and hubby was so great about stopping at quite a few quilt shops. I just love how they are all so different and unique. What a great time we had but there's no place like home. :D

I wondered where you had been. Sounds like you had a nice time out and about, but I agree that the best part of going away is coming home again. What pretty colors in the Bread and Butter quilt.

Oh yeah! I am glad the quilt top arrived safely, and that you like it! The colors were different than I usually work with too, but I loved it! I really like how the triangles frame the *Squirrel In A Cage* blocks! (We have a crazy squirrel that lives in the tree by the driveway, so I got a kick out of that being the name of the block!)
Sounds like you had a wonderful, relaxing time with Hubby! Good for you!
