Tomorrow my grandaughter is coming to work on her quilt and so while she is doing that I am going to quilt this old project that I have had done forever! At least it seems like forever. I don't even remember the name of it. Oh well, I will just give it a new name when it is done!
It is a Jo Morton quilt and all made with Jo's fabric! This one will be a keeper for me! Tomorrow will be a really fun day!

New Project - Old Project
Here is the newest project I have been working on. Last summer while I was in Columbus, Ohio visiting my daughter we made our usual stop at the Red Rooster quilt shop and I purchased a quilt kit for her. These are the colors she loves so I have a good start on this one. It's called "Porch Swing" and just consists of strips. Fun and quick project.

Fabric & Finish
What a great day today, especially being a Saturday. I played with my new fabric for a bit, the Jo Morton I talked about in the previous post. She definately doesn't have a design that I don't like. The colors are wonderful. Now, what to do with them. :D
I finished up my "Country Lanes" quilt just a little while ago. The squares are only 1 1/2" so it was tedious at times but well worth it.
Hope everyone is having a very quilty weekend!

Border Pix
Here is the pix of the border on my Basket Quilt. I don't think there is a fabric in this quilt that I don't love! I am sure everyone has had a quilt like that!
Thank you all for all the kind comments about this quilt. I love all of Carol Hopkins' patterns and have a few more that I have had for a long time but haven't made yet. This winter will be a good time to get them out and sew them up don't you think??? :D

Betsy's Baskets
Oh how I love this quilt! My friend Carol pieced this one for me while I quilted a quilt of hers. She does such wonderful work so quilting this was such a dream.
It is pretty chilly out right now and is getting dark so early now that I couldn't get a pix of it hung on the fence so you can see the borders.
Anyway, Sunday, while my grandaughter was working on piecing her quilt I was able to get this beauty all quilted. Below is a close up of one of the blocks.
I will cherish this quilt for many years to come!

Great Time With Grandaughters!
What a great time my grandaughters and I had this evening. Mom and Dad went out for dinner and after the girls and I had supper off to the studio for us all. Jenna worked on her quilt that she started a while ago. She worked hard and got quite a few more blocks done, I was very proud of her!
Her sister Leah wanted part of the action too so she was sorting all the strips into piles for easier access. Once that was done off to the computer for her. She was multi tasking, talking to her Aunt Jess by texting and looking at pix of her little friends on Facebook. :D
What was I doing you ask? Why taking pictures and ironing of course. LOL
