It has been a beautiful fall here so far, the leaves are gorgeous now in all their glorious colors and the temperature is getting cool in the mornings, my favorite time of the year!
Harvest is over, very early this year, and so I have been working on finishing up old projects in the evening again. Below is one of those projects.
Used up quite a few scraps from the previous quilt with this one, loving not having to use my new stuff yet.
My daughter is doing ok right now, she has had some acupuncture (sp) done and it has relieved some of her pain for short periods of time. Not being able to "make it all better" for your child is awful! Prayers are all I can do for her now.
Hope your fall is as colorful and awesome as mine has been! Hugs!!

Sad Day - Quilty Day
First I want to thank all you wonderful women who have prayed for my daughter to have a successful surgery. Well, yesterday my daughter got a call telling her the insurance company has decided they will not pay for this surgery. She called me devastated, and so were hubby and I. The surgery is cancelled for now but hopefully we will get some answers on why this has happened and hopefully get it reversed. I will keep you posted.
In the meantime I did what I always do when things seem to get out of control and that is quilt. I finished this great quilt by Carrie Nelson. Can't remember the name of it but I love it and all the dfferent scraps.
I think I will be doing alot of quilting until we get some answers!!
Happy Quilting!

The Quilt Is Done!
The quilt is done, washed, soft, and ready to take to Ohio. Nothing fancy but a real comfort
quilt in my opinion. Her last one that she had for her first surgery is in shreds now so this one should last her for a while.
Surgery is next Friday and I am asking for prayers for Jessica and for the doctors who will be doing the surgery. It is amazing what the medical world can do for people now and I am praying that this surgery will do the trick so she won't have to go through it again.
Happy Saturday! :D
