I have had so much fun quilting again now that my machine is working great again, just like brand new! One of my PIF gals and I have been trading our talents, she has pieced a few quilt kits for me and I am quilting some quilts for her. This one is for one of her daughters, itsn't it great! It makes me smile just looking at it. The other quilt I did for her was all in floral fabrics in pinks and browns, it was gorgeous! I have one to do for her son, it is in Boy Scout fabrics, it is cool too. Not quite sure how I will quilt it yet, am still thinking about it while I continue to quilt other quilts. I know it will come to me, it always does. :D
Another spring day ahead at the elevator, it won't be long before planting season will start and another farming year will begin. Have a great spring day wherever you may be!

Where has this last week gone??
It is Sunday again and I don't understand where this last week has gone to?
I have had a customer quilt that I had almost all quilted when there was a problem with the fabric that was used in the quilt. Needless to say I have been ripping out all the quilting this last week in the evenings and all this weekend. Good thing there was basketball to watch. I had to call and tell my customer about it and she agreed never to use this particular fabric ever again. Taking a break to rest my scissor hand I put together the center of my "Crabapple" quilt to help my sanity and to feel like I was making some progress on something.
Hopefully I will get the next steps done to this quilt in the coming week, that is if I get all my ripping done. :D Wish me luck!

IT'S MONDAY AGAIN!
Where did the weekend go? It is Monday again and back to work. I want to thank you all for the nice comments on my "Crabapples"! I spent the weekend on the couch with a box of kleenex and my blankie. Every year at this time, NCAA tourney time, I get sick. This year, thank heaven, it was just a bad cold and not the flu. I think I will live :D and off to work I go shortly.
I have a customer quilt to finish quilting this week and then I want to finish up "Crabapples". It is taking me alot of time to put this one together but I just love it more and more.
Happy Monday to one and all and happy quilting!!

Almost Done!
I almost have my "Crabapples" together and I am lovin' it! I have not been feeling good all day with this cold I have, so I have been sewing and napping off and on. I hope I will be able to get the borders done tomorrow and then I can put it in line to get it quilted. I already have my next project picked out, that I did while I was resting on the couch with my quilt books. :D
Hope you all have a wonderful quilty day tomorrow!

Looking for Fabric
Good Morning! I need some help here and I pray someone out in blogland can help. I am making the "Crabapples" quilt and am using this "Flower Market" fabric as my setting squares. I was cutting it last night and finally figured out I didn't have enough, YIKES!! If anyone has some of this and would like to sell it please leave me a comment. I will find something different if I have to but you know how it is when it IS the perfect match. Have a great day everyone and happy quilting! :D

My Trees Are Growing---
I have been working on my trees and they are growing slowly but surely. I didn't use the pattern to paper piece the trunk part but so far it is working out just fine. I am loving my trees, and am anxious to get the rest of them done. I want to work on them tomorrow but will be going to pick up my Gammill from the doctor, I can hardly wait! Have a super Saturday and the next time I post, I hope it will be with a picture of a quilt that has actually been quilted! :D

Making Some Progress!
When I am ready to start a new project I sometimes have trouble deciding what to start on next, there are too many quilts I want to do and so little time. Well after pondering over this issue for a few days I finally decided to start on "Crabapples". My trees are all made and am working on all the little squares. As you can see mine will be scrappy with a plan but that is ok with me. I have a real hard time not doing it, anal I know.
It has been alot of fun so far and am looking forward to putting a few blocks together! Stay tuned!
